So we've been tagged. This is actually good because now Betsy will have to post something. :-) Here are my answers to these very important questions:
1. The best thing you cooked last week...I think that my greatest culinary creation of last week was shredded chicken quesadillas.
2. If money, time, and babysitting were no object where would you go and with whom?Good question...it would probably be a long trip with Betsy. We would definitely hit Hawaii and visit her alma mater, then off to Tahiti so she could actually be there with me this time. I would love to see New Zealand and take a trip through the outback of Australia (maybe visit Ayer's Rock). A quick stop to Egypt to see the pyramids and the sphynx and then off to South Africa (I would love to go on one of the great white shark tours they do there). We did say money was no object, right? For sure we would have to visit Europe: Greece, Croatia, Czech Republic (Prague), Italy, Switzerland, England, Germany, Denmark. By that time it will have probably been a year and time to go home.
3. When was the last time you cried?This isn't fair. I don't cry ever...really it's true...I just have allergies.
4. Four things you were doing this month 10 years ago.
Hmm...that would have been October, 1998. I had recently moved to Utah to go to BYU, I was playing lots of soccer, goofing around with roommates, and I did go to class...honest I did.
5. What are 5 things on your to-do list today? It's Sunday, so I don't really have a to-do list. Let's see...go to church, check, cook dinner, check, get cinnamon roll dough going, check, take a nap, relax.
6. Six favorite snacks? All things chocolate. If I have to narrow that down, then Lindt milk chocolate balls. If you haven't tried them you're missing out on a real party in your mouth. Microwave popcorn. Bottlecaps. Nachos with hot salsa. Stroopwaffeln. Caramel fondue.
7. Five bad habits?Leaving my socks on the floor. Scaring small children on Halloween. Playing with fire. Teasing my girls (that includes Betsy). Going to bed way too late.
8. Five favorite foods?Rouladen, rouladen, rouladen. If you haven't had it, I'm sorry. Next time you're in Germany I highly recommend it. Rotkohl, it's German red cabbage, another keeper. I'm always a fan of a really good steak. Potatoes, pretty much any way you can cook them except hash browns and tater tots. I've got to say that I'm a big cheese fan too.
9. Five places I've been?Tahiti, Europe (a few spots), the top of Mt. Hood, Argentina, Uruguay.
10. Six favorite memories?
Getting married. Seeing my daughters born. Family vacation to Florida for Christmas when I was 16 or 17. Family vacation to Clear Lake, CA. Hand feeding stingrays in Tahiti.
So now we are tagging Brad and Erin. You're it.
