First Day of School

Alexandria had her first day of Kindergarten. Luckily she loves it and has a great teacher. I haven't had the heart to tell her yet that going to school every day will continue for another 13 years.

We Made it to Heber

For those of you who don't know yet, we decided to move. Why, one might ask, would we move in the middle of dental school applications, Betsy being pregnant, and Alexandria starting school in a few weeks? Well, I was offered a job in Park City and it turns out that it was going to be a big help in allowing us to continue on with the dental school goal. So, next time you're up in the mountains come by and say hi.

Happy Birthday Betsy!

We had a small celebration for Betsy's birthday at home. I got back from Arizona around 6pm, so we didn't have much go with. Thank goodness for Costco. Betsy's favorite dessert is cheesecake and it just so happens that Costco has a key lime cheesecake. It was fun to be together as a family and give Betsy a hard time about being 32 now. I don't have that privilege for another four months.

For gifts, the girls and I kept it pretty simple. Betsy has long made a point of letting me know about our lack of chick flicks in the house. We got her both of "The Man From Snowy River" movies and "While You Were Sleeping." We also got her a body pillow to assist with the pregnancy discomforts. All in all I think it worked out well.

Any guesses on what we're having?

We took a little trip to the doctor today to find out what we are having. Long story short, I noticed a little something about 30 seconds into the ultrasound that piqued my interest, but the technician didn't say anything. A few minutes later, my suspicions were confirmed...it's a boy. Now comes the hard part, picking a name. Just kidding, well not really, but the hard part and discomforts are still ahead (Betsy can attest to that).

I'm going to see if I can be technically savvy enough to get the ultrasound video on the blog. Don't hold your breath though...so far the DVD (yeah they have finally advanced from VHS) they gave us won't let me copy the files.
